I´m running Windows 2003 TS, all the remotes are redirectioning the lpt1 port to the default printer during the logon process. The problem is that all the print job are printing in the printer from the last remote connected user.
Todd ReiblingDelete message
How do I restrict the redirected printers showing up for only the logged in user? I want to make all the other redirected printers not show up in other people's sessions.

Hi I have started to get 'the network request is not supported' error and is only cleared by re-starting the server - running win server 2000 with TS and all clients are Win 2000 Pro.
Matthew HarrisDelete message
DanD, there is a fix for the problem you are having and it is available off the Microsoft site. Search in the MS KB for num lock.
Matthew HarrisDelete message
Andre, the ISA server might be causing some connection slowdown. You might want to consider tweaking it a bit for performance to see if you can fix it.
DanDDelete message
My win98se pc's are having problems with numlock and CTRL-ALT being stuck on when connected to W2K3 via Remote Desktop. Any idea's how to fix?
AndréDelete message
I'm using Isa Server 2000.
Mattthew HarrisDelete message
Hmm...which version of ISA server are you using?
AndréDelete message
Another information. I inserted a second server with the Terminal Services, and the same problem occurs.
AndréDelete message
Matthew, it occurs with some users. Using the internal network we connect normally, but when passing through the Isa Firewall this problem occurs.
Matthew HarrisDelete message
Andre, do you see this problem with all clients, or with just that one?

Matthew, Could you please help me with your login script for tS prrinting. My email address is jodower@oasisb.com
Matthew HarrisDelete message
Session directory is basically a beefed up connect.exe, which allows you to connect to other sessions which are located on other servers. The normal connect.exe only allows local server connections.
The TimmerDelete message
I see. A disconnected session is exactly the issue we would like to solve. Your scripts have been helpful there. Thanks Again!
Matthew HarrisDelete message
Yes, NLb with affinity can handle things just fine. However NLB doesn't handle reconnecting you back to the server that you were logged into in the case of a disconnection.
The TimmerDelete message
Hi Mathew, do you feel Session Directory is worh the additional cost of Enterprise? Doesn't affinity handle reconnection for you and isn't affinity better in 2k3?
Matthew HarrisDelete message
I haven't tried that B, although I do know that TS allocates only a certain amount of video memory to each session. You might be running up against that limitation.
BDelete message
any thoughts on how to get client to connect to TS (server 2003) at higher than 1600x1200. I'm looking for 1680x1050. Thanks.
Matthew HarrisDelete message
Stuart, just edit the users account in AD and force the user's account to not map client drives. You can make other, special, accounts map the drives.
StuartDelete message
here is the deal we want to be abale to may local drives only for some users but it looks like you have to have ICA is this correct?
